My name is Rustin Clawson and I'm from Morganton, NC. I have been playing guitar since age 11 and have been singing almost my entire life. After performing in several different bands, I am currently a solo acoustic musician. My major musical influences include Guns N Roses, The Marshall Tucker Band, Fleetwood Mac, Journey, Marcus King Band, Tyler Childers, The Allman Brothers, Sturgill Simpson, Bon Jovi, and virtually anything else from the 70s & 80s. The 80s being my favorite genre to play thanks to my father Tim-- who gave me a Dokken CD for my 7th birthday and took me to see Journey just a few years after.
